Students had the opportunity to visit IslandWood, a 255-acre outdoor learning center on Bainbridge Island, during the last week of the summer portion of the program. At IslandWood, students played games, went on nature walks, and learned about native plants to Washington State.

At the end of the summer, Youth Aerospace Students were able to put their networking and self-presentation skills to use. At Seattle Goodwill's home office, students presented their 60-second commercial to the leadership of Seattle Goodwill and local organizations.
In late February, Students and Parents gathered together to experience domestic violence through a simulation workshop.

On January 30th, YAP 3 students visited the Museum of Flight in South Seattle. Students had a tour of the exhibits and then were able to explore on their own after lunch.
On YAP 3's day off of school, students spent five hours working with Sound Salmon Solutions to plant native plant cuts for the local watersheds in Snohomish County.
Spirit of the HolidaysStudents received gifts from Boeing Employees for the holidays. Bowling at Strawberry Lanes To celebrate the end of the year, YAP 3 spend the rest of their holiday party bowling at Strawberry Lanes. Some of us have some real bowling talent.
Students spent their morning helping the Marysville Food Bank by bagging potatoes and cleaning up the facility.
Yap 3 students volunteered their Saturday nights while the Future of Flight hosted their annual Fundraising Gala. Students dressed up, helped with bidding, payment, and the live auction!
Our female participants were able to meet with influential women in aviation at Harvey Field. They also received a tour of the airfield.
